Capabilities in on-demand it
Time and materials support, project help, and 24/7 emergency response for businesses not ready for a full plan.
Straightforward hourly support for troubleshooting, configuration, and cleanup work, quoted before we start where the scope allows it.
Server down, ransomware suspicion, or a failed migration at midnight. Our team can be engaged outside business hours when the situation cannot wait.
A second opinion on architecture, licensing, vendor quotes, or a proposal from another provider, delivered as plain findings rather than a sales pitch.
Networking, cloud, security, and Microsoft specialists behind a single point of contact, so a one-off engagement still gets the right expertise.

Yes. On-demand IT is billed on a time and materials basis with no long-term commitment. Many clients start here for an emergency or project, then move to a managed plan once they see the response.
Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency engagement, including containment, recovery from backups, and a written post-incident review with the gaps that allowed the incident.
Yes. On-demand IT is billed hourly or in prepaid blocks with no ongoing commitment. It suits smaller offices, one-time projects, and companies testing whether they need a full managed plan.
Rates depend on the skill level required and whether the work is scheduled or emergency after hours. Prepaid hour blocks lower the effective rate. We quote in writing before work starts, and project work over a set threshold is fixed-fee rather than open-ended.
Managed clients are prioritized under contracted SLAs. On-demand requests are handled on a best-effort basis, usually same or next business day, and emergency response is available at after-hours rates when engineers are free.
Often it does. Discovery and documentation completed during project work carries over, which shortens onboarding, and we credit the assessment work toward the transition.
Yes. Outsource IT provides unlimited remote, onsite, and help-desk services for a single monthly flat fee across all client locations. Unlike MSPs that use block-time billing, which generates surprise overage charges when usage spikes, our plans cap monthly cost. We have operated this model for over 20 years across Ontario and Canada-wide.
Yes, quarterly by default. Every managed-services client receives a quarterly business review covering ticket volume and trends, security posture changes, upcoming projects, technology roadmap, and budget forecast. Larger clients and regulated-industry clients receive monthly executive reviews instead. Reviews are delivered by your assigned vCIO, not by the help desk.
Hybrid is supported. We offer co-managed IT for businesses that have internal IT staff and need augmentation, fully managed IT for SMBs without internal IT, and a-la-carte projects such as cloud migrations, security assessments, and vCIO engagements. Most clients start fully managed, then transition to co-managed as they grow.
Most Ontario SMBs pay between $130 and $250 per user per month for fully managed IT services in 2026. Co-managed plans, where you keep some internal IT, run $80 to $150 per user. Cost varies by company size, security depth (basic AV versus EDR plus 24/7 MDR), after-hours response, and regulated-industry requirements such as PHIPA, PIPEDA, and Law Society obligations.
Under 60 seconds for live calls during service-desk hours (7am to 7pm ET), under 15 minutes for P1 critical incidents 24/7/365, and within 2 business hours for standard tickets. SLA terms are documented in every master services agreement. After-hours critical issues route to on-call engineers in Burlington, Ontario, not an offshore third party.
No. Our standard managed-services agreement is a 12-month initial term, then month-to-month with 60 days written notice. We do not lock clients into 3 or 5 year contracts. Average client tenure of 12+ years comes from service quality, not contract terms. Onboarding investment is amortized into the monthly fee, not front-loaded as a non-refundable deposit.
