Yes. We act as your Microsoft partner, manage licences under the New Commerce Experience, audit for unused seats, and bill in Canadian dollars with support included rather than routing you to a global queue.
Yes. Default tenants are not secure. We apply MFA, conditional access, Defender policies, external sharing controls, retention, and audit logging to a documented baseline and review it as Microsoft changes the platform.
Business Premium is the right baseline for most Ontario SMBs because it adds Entra ID P1 conditional access, Intune device management, Defender for Office 365, and Azure Information Protection. Standard covers apps and email only and leaves your identity and device security to third-party tools.
Not the way most people assume. Microsoft protects the platform; your data is your responsibility under the shared-responsibility model. Retention for deleted mailboxes, SharePoint content, and Teams data is limited. We add third-party backup with long-term, immutable retention for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Yes. We run mailbox, file, and Teams migrations with a pilot group first, then a cutover on a weekend or evening. Mail flow, calendars, shared mailboxes, and permissions are validated before we retire the old platform.
Multi-factor authentication for everyone, conditional access policies by location and device, legacy authentication disabled, mailbox-rule and impersonation alerting, privileged-role review, and monitoring of sign-in risk events in our SOC.
It depends on your existing stack and compliance needs. Microsoft 365 is the better fit for Windows-heavy SMBs, regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services, and clients planning to use Copilot. Google Workspace is competitive for SMBs already on Chrome and Android and for tight-budget startups. We migrate in both directions and have no platform preference.
Yes. Our Azure practice covers landing-zone design, subscription governance, cost management where we typically reduce Azure spend 15 to 30 percent on a first engagement, security baseline with Defender for Cloud, backup, and disaster recovery runbooks. Azure-only clients can engage on a project basis or as a managed service.
Yes. Standard Microsoft 365 hardening includes MFA on every account, conditional access policies that block legacy authentication and require compliant devices, Defender for Office 365 for phishing and malware, Defender for Cloud Apps, and a documented incident-response runbook for compromised accounts. This is included in our managed Microsoft 365 service, not sold as an add-on.
Most SMB migrations finish in 2 to 8 weeks. A 25-user single-site migration from Google Workspace or on-prem Exchange typically takes 3 weeks. A 200-user multi-site migration with SharePoint and Teams rollout typically takes 6 to 8 weeks. Migration includes mailbox cutover, OneDrive data move, MFA enforcement, conditional access policies, and user training.
Copilot licensing is roughly $40 CAD per user per month on top of an existing Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 plan, billed by Microsoft. Our Copilot deployment service covers tenant readiness assessment, data governance setup so Copilot can only reach intended files, user training, and use-case rollout over 6 to 12 weeks. Most clients see measurable ROI within 90 days.
Yes, with the right governance. Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 respects existing permissions and can only reach data the user can already reach. The real risk is over-permissioned files, for example HR documents accidentally shared org-wide. Our Copilot readiness assessment finds and remediates those before deployment, and public AI tools are restricted inside managed environments.
