We design, migrate, and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructure for Ontario businesses across Microsoft Azure, AWS, private cloud, and colocation. The engagement follows three steps: assessment and solution design, migration and implementation, then ongoing management and cost optimization. Canadian data residency is the default, which keeps PIPEDA and client due diligence straightforward.

What Outsource IT delivers

Azure, AWS, private cloud, colocation, and managed infrastructure designed, migrated, and run by one team.

01

Public cloud on Azure, AWS, and Google

Planning, deployment, and daily management of public cloud workloads, sized to what you actually consume and reviewed regularly so spend tracks usage instead of drifting upward.

02

Private cloud and colocation

Dedicated environments in secure Canadian data centres for workloads that need predictable performance, tighter control, or data sovereignty you can put in writing.

03

Managed infrastructure and IaaS

We own patching, monitoring, capacity, and storage management for your servers whether they sit in your closet, in colocation, or in the cloud.

04

Cloud and data migrations

Server, application, and large data set moves planned in detail and cut over with minimal downtime, including rollback plans nobody expects to need.

05

Cost optimization and cloud assessments

Right-sizing, reserved capacity, orphaned resource cleanup, and licensing review, presented as a short list of changes with dollar figures attached.

What changes for your business

  • Lower total cost than refreshing ageing on-premise hardware
  • Canadian-region data residency for compliance reviews
  • Migrations completed on evenings and weekends, not on your users
  • Monthly cloud spend that is explainable line by line

Questions we get asked

12 answers covering managed cloud & infrastructure, pricing, response times, and compliance.

Yes. We deploy Azure, AWS, and backup workloads into Canadian regions and Canadian data centres by default, which satisfies PIPEDA expectations and most enterprise vendor questionnaires.

A typical SMB migration runs four to twelve weeks depending on server count, application complexity, and data volume. Assessment and design usually take the first two weeks, with cutovers scheduled outside business hours.

Most Ontario SMBs land on hybrid. Email, files, and line-of-business SaaS belong in the cloud, while latency-sensitive systems such as manufacturing control software, large CAD or media repositories, and some legacy applications stay local. We model five-year cost and risk for both before recommending a path.

Wherever your compliance requirements demand. For clients with Canadian data-residency obligations we use Canadian Azure and Microsoft 365 regions, plus Canadian backup repositories, and we document the data location in your compliance record.

Yes. Typical savings of 20 to 40 percent come from right-sizing VMs, reserved instances, removing orphaned disks and idle resources, tiering storage, and shutting non-production workloads outside business hours. Cloud cost review is part of every quarterly technology review.

We do. Managed cloud infrastructure includes monitoring, OS and application patching in scheduled windows, capacity and performance tuning, backup verification, and 24/7 alert response so uptime is our responsibility, not something your team notices when it breaks.

Yes. Our Azure practice covers landing-zone design, subscription governance, cost management where we typically reduce Azure spend 15 to 30 percent on a first engagement, security baseline with Defender for Cloud, backup, and disaster recovery runbooks. Azure-only clients can engage on a project basis or as a managed service.

Default RTO is 4 hours for critical systems and 24 hours for non-critical systems. Faster objectives of 1 hour or 15 minutes are available for clients requiring tighter continuity, typically healthcare, financial, and manufacturing operations. Faster RTO requires hot-standby infrastructure and is priced separately from standard managed services.

Hybrid is supported. We offer co-managed IT for businesses that have internal IT staff and need augmentation, fully managed IT for SMBs without internal IT, and a-la-carte projects such as cloud migrations, security assessments, and vCIO engagements. Most clients start fully managed, then transition to co-managed as they grow.

Yes. Standard Microsoft 365 hardening includes MFA on every account, conditional access policies that block legacy authentication and require compliant devices, Defender for Office 365 for phishing and malware, Defender for Cloud Apps, and a documented incident-response runbook for compromised accounts. This is included in our managed Microsoft 365 service, not sold as an add-on.

Yes, quarterly by default. Every managed-services client receives a quarterly business review covering ticket volume and trends, security posture changes, upcoming projects, technology roadmap, and budget forecast. Larger clients and regulated-industry clients receive monthly executive reviews instead. Reviews are delivered by your assigned vCIO, not by the help desk.

It depends on your existing stack and compliance needs. Microsoft 365 is the better fit for Windows-heavy SMBs, regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services, and clients planning to use Copilot. Google Workspace is competitive for SMBs already on Chrome and Android and for tight-budget startups. We migrate in both directions and have no platform preference.
