Backup is only worth what you can restore. We run image-level backups on a schedule tied to how much data you can afford to lose, test restores automatically, replicate to Canadian-region cloud, and document a continuity plan with named owners. Recovery time and recovery point objectives are agreed per system before an incident, not negotiated during one.

Capabilities in backup & disaster recovery
Restorable backups, defined recovery objectives, cloud failover, and a continuity plan your team can follow.
Image-level and file-level backups across servers, endpoints, and Microsoft 365, monitored daily with automated restore testing so the first real recovery is never the first test.
We set a recovery time and recovery point objective for each system with your leadership, then design the solution to hit them instead of guessing after the outage starts.
A local appliance plus Canadian-region cloud replication, so a dead server, a ransomware event, or a flooded office does not become a multi-day shutdown.
Documented escalation paths, contact trees, alternate work arrangements, and step-by-step recovery procedures, reviewed at least annually with your team.
Separate retention for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, because Microsoft's shared responsibility model does not cover deletion, corruption, or a compromised account.

Automated restore verification should run continuously, with a full documented recovery test at least annually. Outsource IT reports on restore test results monthly so you never rely on an untested backup.
Not in the way most businesses assume. Microsoft protects the platform, you are responsible for your data. We add third-party backup with independent retention for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Backup is a copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the tested ability to run the business again within a defined time. A backup without a documented recovery time objective, recovery point objective, and rehearsal is a file copy, not a plan.
We test restores monthly and run a full failover rehearsal at least annually, documenting actual recovery times against your targets. Untested backups fail far more often than clients expect, usually because of a missed system, not corrupt data.
With immutable backups and virtualization-ready recovery, critical systems typically come back within hours rather than days. Actual recovery time depends on data volume, the number of systems, and how long the attacker had access before detection.
Yes. We use immutable, air-gapped copies with separate credentials from your production environment, following a 3-2-1-1-0 approach: three copies, two media types, one offsite, one immutable, zero errors on verification.
Automated restore drills run monthly and full failover tests run annually. Monthly tests verify that random sample files restore successfully without corruption. Annual tests execute the full disaster-recovery runbook, including spinning up workloads in the secondary site and validating application function. Results are reported in the quarterly business review.
Default RTO is 4 hours for critical systems and 24 hours for non-critical systems. Faster objectives of 1 hour or 15 minutes are available for clients requiring tighter continuity, typically healthcare, financial, and manufacturing operations. Faster RTO requires hot-standby infrastructure and is priced separately from standard managed services.
Monthly micro-modules and quarterly phishing simulations. Every covered employee receives one 5-minute training module per month on phishing recognition, password hygiene, social engineering, and data handling. Quarterly phishing simulations measure click rates and identify repeat-offender users for targeted retraining. Results are summarized for executives in the quarterly business review.
Yes. Service-desk technicians are available during extended business hours, 7am to 7pm ET Monday to Friday, for non-critical requests, and on-call engineers handle critical issues 24/7/365. After-hours requests for outages, security events, and data loss are answered live. Non-critical after-hours tickets queue for the next business day with status updates.
Through immutability and air-gap design. Backups are written to immutable storage that cannot be encrypted or deleted by a ransomware attack, retained for the period specified in your service agreement, and replicated to a geographically separate Canadian data centre. Backup integrity is tested monthly through automated restore drills.
Yes. Our QA methodology covers ticket QA through random-sample review of every engineer's tickets monthly, client QA through quarterly business reviews, and process QA through an annual review of every standard operating procedure. Findings drive engineer coaching and process updates, and results are summarized for clients during quarterly reviews.
